Answers. once you are 80+, the sauros in Temperantia give good xp, especially if you Chain attack them. After that, Reeking Douglas, a lvl 104 unique in Gormott is a good one to farm since its realitvely easy to get rare and legendary core crystals from him. Hello, I'm replaying Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (nonNG+) and I'm trying to see if I can possibly summon KOSMOS before chapter 7. Are there any grinding methods for legendary core crystals that can be used at around level 50, the farthest area being Tantal? I don't mind something that takes a while.
Queen Arachno is also doable at this level but very messy. She gives up to 40k exp when using a combo.

Found a nice grinding enemy in the game. Not a spot, but more of multiple spots. Keep locating for enemies that are of the genus, Volff, scattered around the areas you visit. They have the ability to "call for help", which will activate when they have 1/3 of their total HP.

100%ing XB2 can be grindy, but not in a casual playthrough. If you're feeling weak, just do sidequests. The xp you get from side quests is optional. You can take it at any time if you're feeling a bit weak. Alternatively, if you want a challenge, you can not take it.

Use the Gold Cylinders at the port to get some Salvage. This is a fantastic way to farm gold but it's also a great way to farm Common Core Crystals and Rare Core Crystals. When you use the Gold Cylinders and an enemy spawns, make sure you take them out. You will get either a Common or Rare Core Crystal about 80% of the time.
